Welcome!

BLIK is the official academic journal for audiovisual culture at Utrecht University led by students. The journal aims to explore the different perspectives and critical views of the media field by giving voice to students. With roughly three issues releasing each year, a diverse catalogue of essays, journalistic columns, and interviews gets the spotlight. More recently, the journal has decided to also include more creative writing pieces and opinion pieces.

On this PubPub, past issues will be uploaded for viewing. For print issues, please refer to the website: blikonline.nl. Over there, ordering will be handled and news and press reviews by the editorial team will be uploaded as well.
